Blue Ridge Mall\n  1800 Four Seasons Blvd\, Hendersonville\, NC.\n  Exit 49B off Highway 26 E\, 0.5 miles on left. 23 minutes from Asheville\n \n Topics: Promoting normal birth\, the "sphincter rule"\, birth stories\, the Quilt Project\, the effect of birth on mom and baby\, comparing US outcomes to international rates. This workshop is approved for 3 CEUs\, or 3 CMEs\n for doulas\, nurses\, childbirth educators\, physicians\, health care providers\, and childbirth advocates\n $35  space is limited\n  Objectives:\n      *             Discuss ways to help promote physiologic labor        \n\n        *             Discuss the “sphincter rule” related to normal labor progress        \n\n        *             Verbalize the influence birth has on a woman’s self concept        \n\n        *             Compare birth outcomes in the <!--?xml:namespace prefix = st1 /--><!--?XML:NAMESPACE PREFIX = ST1 /-->        US to other countries\n       \n        \n\n      Margaret R. Pardee Memorial Hospital is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the North Carolina Nurses Association\, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation\, or  3 CMEs will be awarded through MAHEC.\n\n  No refunds for cancellations after Oct 15th.
