Our Mission The UMA (United Mothering Alliance) Center is a place for Women, Mothers and Mothers-To-Be to come for support, education, and resources. It is a place to be nurtured and supported. It is a common ground for those preparing for childbirth, birthing, adopting, becoming a parent, raising children, and managing a family. It is a place to gather and share wisdom. What We DoWe host events, workshops and support meetings for new and expecting parents. We offer one to one support for families exploring their birth options in Idaho. We publish the "Birth & Beyond: A Resource Guide for Families" a free guide listing local providers who have endorsed the Mother-Friendly Childbirth Initiative.
