West Sound BirthNetwork was started in December 2010, out of a desire for professionals and consumers to work together to help improve the emotional and physical outcomes of births in our community. We are committed to seeing positive changes for the families of Kitsap County, and are rapidly
expanding our network of volunteers to ensure that this happens.
West Sound BirthNetwork advocates mother-friendly care, as
outlined in the CIMS Mother-Friendly Childbirth Initiative, as well
as the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative. We are an outreach
organization which holds monthly meetings on topics that are
important to you.
