Our Mission
Women in the Center seeks to redefine what it means to be a powerful woman by connecting our local resources and developing opportunities for support and education within our community. Our first initiative is to normalize 
breastfeeding in our communities through the Port City
Breastfeeding Project. Our original project, Where's My
Midwife?, brought more access to and education
surrounding midwives to this community, and is now
bringing its vision to the Nation.
